Description

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
It is an excellent anticorrosive epoxy primer, rich in zinc dust. It offers high and longlasting anticorrosive protection. It is suitable for priming metallic surfaces such as pumps, pipes and metallic constructions in industrial environment and seaside areas.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces must be clean, dry and smooth, free from dust, grease or poorly adhering material. Sand the metallic surfaces and then apply one or two coats of GALVANIZE zinc-rich. When the coating is thoroughly dry, apply the final finish (alkyd or acrylic solvent-based).

COLOURS
It is available in grey.

FEATURES

Packaging :  750mL

Drying :  It is touch dry after 30 - 60 minutes.

Recoatability Time :  It can be recoated after 9 - 12 hours, depending on atmospheric conditions.

Spreading Rate :  7 - 9 m2 / L  per coat on properly prepared surfaces.

Thinning : Dilute 5% with Vitex's Brush Solvent T-300 when applying by roller,  brush or spray gun.

Application : Apply by roller, brush or spray gun.
