Description

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
It is a white, mat waterborne undercoat, based on new technology modified resins. Suitable for indoor and outdoor application on surfaces like wood, plaster and knifeputty surfaces. Due to its special composition, it has excellent filling and sanding properties, offering great adhesion to all previously painted surfaces (even with distempers). It is odourless, applied easily and has very good levelling properties without brush and/or joint marks. It can be overcoated with Vitex's water-based (Aquavit) or solvent-based (Verolac, Platinum, Heavy Metal Silicon) enamels.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Surfaces made of wood or plaster must be properly prepared (smoothened with knife-putty, sanded and cleaned) and then primed with one or two coats of Vitex's water-based Velatura. Then, we sand the surface, remove the dust and finally we apply two coats of water or solvent-based paint.

It is available in white mat.

FEATURES

Packaging : 2.5L

Drying :  It is touch dry after 1 - 2 hours .

Recoatability Time :  It can be recoated after 6 - 8 hours, depending on atmospheric conditions.

Spreading Rate :  12 - 14 m2 / L  per coat on properly prepared surfaces.

Thinning : Dilute 5% with water for roller or brush application, and 10 - 15% with water when applied with spray gun.

Application : Apply by roller, brush or spray gun.
